Kathy O’Sullivan currently works as Director of the Center for Language Education at the South University of Science and Technology, in China. She received a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Portsmouth, U.K. Her varied research interests include education in Middle East and Asia contexts, and the gap between educational leadership/administrators and other university stakeholders. She has worked in Europe, Asia and the Middle East for a number of years in various fields in education, ranging from K-12, undergraduate and postgraduate, in public and private institutions, in both teaching and management. She also serves as a consultant in education reform in the Middle East.
